What’s Not Included:

We are not responsible for your airfares and/or other transportation costs to and from the retreat destination in Carvoeiro, Algarve, Portugal. If travelling by plane, we recommend you fly to Faro International Airport (FAO) on 21 September 2024 at a time that enables you to arrive at the retreat centre by 6pm for the commencement of the retreat schedule.  

Airport transfers are not included (although you are welcome to book our group shuttle for Faro to Carvoeiro return trip if the group transport times suit you. Once your flights are booked, please email [email protected] with your flight details and we will discuss your options).  

Trip cancellation insurance (which we highly encourage you to have) and personal medical insurance (which we highly recommend).  

Items of a personal nature such as, gifts, excess baggage, medical costs, the costs of hospitalisation and evacuation, travel insurance and additional expenses arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of transportation, or other causes beyond our control.  

Tips for the drivers, guides and housekeeping (at your discretion).  

Other non-included items are any other activities sessions that you book personally, and tours not included in our package.

Payment  

Up to 90 days or more before departure date a non-refundable deposit of €300 with your trip registration form is needed to hold your spot. Final payment is due by 31st August 2024. For a booking made between 21 August 2024 and the trip commencement date, payment in full is required. All payments are by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. Cancellation and Refunds Policy

 If cancellation occurs 90 days or more before departure date, there will be no loss of any payments made. Any cancellation made between 60 and 90 days will result in a loss 50% of any payment made. Any cancellation within 30 days of the commencement of the retreat will result in a total loss of funds.

Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended if there is a possibility that you might have to cancel your trip. All cancellations and/or any refund requests must be made in writing to Louise Tyrrell, SOULise Retreats before the retreat commencement date. Our email address is [email protected].

Keep in mind that once your trip payments become non-refundable as delineated in our cancellation policy above, there will be no refunds, and you will need to report your cancellation to your trip cancellation insurance provider for reimbursement.  

SOULise Retreats reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes, etc.), which may impede trip operations. The refund of all payments as described in the paragraph below shall release SOULise Retreats from any further liability.  

SOULise Retreats must make substantial payments to suppliers far in advance of the scheduled date of the retreat. If a trip is cancelled due to forces beyond our control (acts of God, war, strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.) SOULise Retreats will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not advanced to suppliers and will use its best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible, and will refund to you the amount recovered, if any.

However, SOULise Retreats does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceeding in foreign countries. This policy applies to trip cancellation by client choice following any necessary increase in trip costs.
